In 85/86 we ended up with an average of two points a game. in 2011/2012 we ended up with an average of one point nine points a game.

Since 3 pts for a win came in in 1981, we have only ever finished a season once with more than 1.5 pts a game.
So far, this season we've managed 1.65 pts per game.

He will be the only manager to have ended us up with a positive goal difference in a PL season. Almost certainly he will set a PL points record too.
It looks like he will set us the record of the lowest number of PL defeats in a season and at the same time set a new record for the number of PL draws.
That ain't half bad for a manager who was not the owners [ or mine as it happens ] first choice.
